Chaumet imagines a lush Garden on beautiful sunny days, where pieces imbued with poetry and character flourish, featuring brooches, rings, and necklaces adorned with the most beautiful gemstones, in vibrant colors. It’s a precious echo of the naturalist tradition that is so dear to the Maison and to its first source of inspiration, the Empress Joséphine, who was a great nature lover and a keen botanist.
These limited edition brooches continue two jewelry traditions that are dear to Chaumet – the careful observation of nature and the art of transformable jewelry. Butterflies, dragonflies, snails, and chickens can be taken off to be worn as brooches or earrings. The pieces are imbued with poetry and a touch of humor, as the ordinary is elevated by the jeweler: diamonds cascade from a spade, boots hold a bouquet of wildflowers while the day’s pick flourishes in a crate resembling a jewelry box…
With Bee My Love, Chaumet – Napoléon and Joséphine’s jeweler – offers a modern interpretation of the imperial emblem of the bee, taking inspiration from the honeycomb of the beehive to create an interplay of geometrical shapes and gold. This summer, this iconic collection from the Maison is enhanced with new pendants and supple earrings, as well as vibrant cocktail rings. Featuring pieces that you can mix and match to your heart’s content.
Since it was founded in 1780, Chaumet has continually reinterpreted the wheat motif, a symbol that Empress Joséphine was especially fond of and that she wore in her tiaras in particular. Created in 2015 and reinvented in summer 2019, L’Épi de Blé de Chaumet collection is now adorned with white gold for the first time, with High Jewellery Surprises and Offrandes rings, set with colored gemstones and exquisite sapphires, while a necklace and a new brooch complete this bundle of golden cereal.
Another motif dear to the Maison, the Laurier Precious Jewellery collection is enhanced with new designs featuring pavé diamonds. Rose gold joins the collection with a delicately carved locket pendant and a bandeau ring also available in white gold, on which a branch surrounds the finger-like an architectural frieze.
