The bride went more traditional during a reception at the Villa La Vigie on the French Riviera in a white strapless Chanel gown, channeling her famous grandmother with slicked-back hair and a piece of her jewelry.
Casiraghi wore Princess Grace’s diamond Cartier necklace, which was a wedding gift to the Hollywood icon from her husband Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, in 1956.
The necklace is approximately 64 carats, according to Nadine Coleno’s 2009 book “Amazing Cartier: Jewelry Design since 1937.”This is Casiraghi’s first marriage and Rassam’s second.
The couple sparked engagement rumors in March 2018 after Casiraghi wore a pink diamond sparkler on her ring finger at Monaco’s annual Rose Ball in March 2018.
