Skeletonised watches embody great artistry on a small scale. The movement’s components, which are already quite small, are pierced and pared away until only their essential supporting substance remains, thus offering fascinating insights into the micromechanical cosmos.
Bulgari carries this time-honoured old craft into new dimensions with the Lvcea Skeleton. The dial of this enchanting ladies’ watch, which was presented at Baselworld last year, bears for the first time the logo of the Italian brand, which is celebrating its 130th anniversary this year.
Two new versions will be added in 2019. The first has a case attached to a Tubogas bracelet and adorned with a pink gold bezel, a pink cabochon-cut gemstone and diamonds. The second variant of the Lvcea Skeleton comes in a white gold case set with sapphires and diamonds around its bezel. Both are powered by automatic manufacture Calibre BVL 191, which ticks inside the 33 mm case.
